Swedish adventures complete

Hej everyone,... it might just be magroots that reads this.. ksks

So I have not had as much internet access as I am accustomed to.. but right now I am back at the airport waiting on my flight to London.. so I have a few minutes..

Senefe where to start.. I got to uppsala.. hung out with Johan in town for a bit.. mets some of his friends that work at the student union.. then we bought so beers and started the night. It was alot of fun. Got to relive one of my infamous student nation nights. It ended with him trying to hook up with some girl and me walking home with 2 of his cute corridor mates.. At one point we were walking and I just dove into the snow... They were confused.

The next day I awoke and ran to the buss stop to meet Leila and her husband. After running there for 30 minutes i found out we had to walk about 25 more minutes.. and my feet were dying.. but when in rome.. So we finally made it to where Alvaro would do his presentation. He had no clue I was going to be there so he was super surprised... He was about to take part in the biggest moment of his life, so i think that the full effect did not hit him till later. I watched alvaro present his thesis in english for 1 hour and I did not understand one bit.. It all had to do with DNA and seemed crazy difficult. We celebrated lightly that night.. although I celebrated kind of hard.. stayed out till 3.. and the next day was a recovery day. Then that night we had alvaros party. Tons of fun. 40 people at a private house. Drinks swedish food, spanish food, dancing, speeches, all that good stuff.. Finally we decided to walk home.. and I called Johan to let me into his place. The next morning I looked at my phone to see when i had called johan and only then realized it was at 4:42am ..ouch..

Will tell the rest later but I have to run... Hope all is well with everyone..

Back in Swe Land

Hej everyone...'

So once again I am back here in Sweden.. This might be my last time for awhile... maybe.. It is fairly cold here, but just at about freezing, so it is not too bad... There is lots of snow though... I have been walking around Uppsala by myself for an hour or 2. Waiting on Johan to get out of class. It is 4am back home and 11am here, and I was doing quite well for awhile, but I just hit a wall.. i think I need another double espresso and some food..

Nothing too much to report. Just wanted to say that I was here.. No clue if anyone will even be checking the sweboots blog.. senefe.. hope so! I will have better stuff later..

going home

well crap getting ahold of the internet was not very easy after my last post.. I was able to check my email for like 3 minutes and that was all.. but I have had a goodder than brians time here but I am kinda ready to be going home again. Right now I am in Amsterdam about to get a little food and head to the airport for my 2:30 flight.. I will be home on sunday at around 7.. I will fill you all in on all other adventures later.. Sa gewd though..

Wedding was amazing

Alright, so basically this wedding was good and terribles.. Good because it was beautiful and so cool and different, and terribles cause it was about 100 yesterday and we had to walk ALOT and drive in hot busses and trains and cars ALOT and i never stopped sweating and I dont think I once felt any AC.. Amazing terribles. But on the other hand everything was so different that I was able to ignore my sweating Brains and brains and just enjoy the ceremonies. It was quite a challenge gettign from our hostel to where the marrige took place. we had to walk our brains to the train station and hope to meet up with others who were coming in from other places.. luckily we did and then ride this freaking steaming train with no AC to Joost (the groom) house.. then took this rented double decker bus into the town square (bus was hot as hell) then watched the non-religious ceremony in the Town Hall.. It was very nice but hot as Sh!t... SO HOT.. no a/c.. stupid hot.. anyway, then we ride in hot bus again for an hour and people said I was starting to turn white and they started to get worried that I might overheat.. THey figured a Texas guy could handle it but I remind them that my office is kept at a cool 70 degrees every day..

Well they drove us out to this big castle about 45 mins away where we had dinner and the reception. It was kinda stupid gewd. We had several drinks out on the lawn in the garden and then later went way down into the cellar and at a candle light dinner where the exchange students decided that I would give the speech for everyone, but I was not given prior warning of this..

well anyway dinner, dancing, boozing all that good stuff.. I am still sweating my everliving brians off at this point but I had since given up and was only mildly complaining. then we ride our bus home and get back around 3 and most want to go to sleep but my friend Lars and I go out on the town to meet some people.. we were not able to find anything to much fun.. Well I will tell more later and show pics, but basically it was a ruling wedding.. Thanks again for commenting.. I love how john relates it to "checkin" pfba... sa gewd...

I am off to belgium now and not sure when I will have internet again..

Hej everybody again!

Ok so I decided that this city in holland kinda rules. I had a ridiculous time yesterday. We were out in the city all day walking around, sitting down for coffee or a beer, eating some food at good resturants, and then going out again till 5 in the morning.. Kinda wierd but dboots does not turn into a pumpkin.. Maybe cause 5am here is really just 10pm there but still..

Crap, anyway I have now met up with about 5 other friends here, plus a couple of girls that I did not really know till now. Last night we joined up with the groom and all of his friends for his bachelor party and just had a jolly good time. quite ridiculous in fact. A bunch of crazy dutch people who like pannakukins and all that good stuff.

well I slept till 11 again and now we might go to amsterdam.. otherwise I will call a new friend that I met and we will go eat and get coffee or something of this nature..

Anyway hope everything is well.. I miss you guys and TC, but luckily my days are busy and I am able to get by. Schmilo, will you please have something built for me by the time I get home.. thanks.. my sister moved out of her place and uses this homasote boards as a pin up wall space and I thought that my maybe I could use them.. cut them right and put them where the opening in my room is... But you can build a new coffee table maybe..

this is crazy. I am so tired right now that I dont have any clue what is going on. now i dont know how that is different from other days but still. I slept for about an hour on the plane and an hour in my hostel the from 5am to 9 am and now here i am... I am going to make this short because my brians are shot but all I know is that I had about 8 beers and 5 shots last night.. WHERE are the breakfast tacos..

Well sonofa, i made it here and I am about to go nutz on this computer cause the space bar is all jacked up. Well i had a hell of time finding the damn hostel, but finally did.. Nobody had any clue and obviously I didn't. I met some friends from Adelade where Auzzie Daniel is from and they treated me to some breakfast. I am sweating my brIANS off right now like a mug and could definitely go for some pannakukins.. CRAP..

Well anyway, just wanted to let peeps know I was safe and sound. My hostel is totally BJOoots but that is all part of thefun right.

My friend nele is coming to meet me soon so I better hop off, but I will holler later..
